Tax4Nanny was founded by Gila Ossip MBA, CFP, CA.
Tax4Nanny was formed after numerous requests by friends and family to draw upon Gila’s experience as a Chartered Accountant. Gila was often asked nanny tax questions. She was also asked to help with remittances and with the preparation of tax forms for their caregivers.
Gila began her career at Deloitte & Touche LLP, initially in the audit and assurance practice group before transitioning into tax. Gila then joined ScotiaMcLeod/The Bank of Nova Scotia as part of its Wealth Planning Group where she assisted individuals with tax, estate and retirement planning. While at Scotia, Gila was a frequent writer and contributor to client newsletters relating to tax and wealth planning strategies. Gila then returned to public accounting to practice with Bulmash Cullemore LLP before starting Tax4Nanny. Prior to commencing her career, Gila graduated from The Rotman School of Business at The University of Toronto with an M.B.A. In addition, Gila is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Gila Ossip volunteers her time as a founding board member of Nanny Angel Network. Nanny Angel Network, a non profit organization is a group of women comprised of business executives and caregivers who generously volunteer their time to deliever quality, compassionate relief childcare, at no cost, to mothers diagnosed with breast cancer, in treatment or in the early stages of recovery.
